A transgender woman who claims that one of the suspects whose alleged sexual assault provided the motive in the Bar Noar shooting three years ago, raped her 10 years ago, according to Israel Radio.

The woman filed a complaint with police yesterday, alleging that the suspect in question, a known, active member of the LGBT community, raped her before she underwent a procedure to become a female. She decided to press charges after seeing the suspect on television news reports announcing his arrest.

Police confirmed to Israel Radio that a rape complaint was filed, and that it was being processed by the relevant channels at Tel Aviv District Police, which is also investigating the Bar Noar case.
