Former defense minister Moshe Yaalon addressed The Jerusalem Post Diplomatic Conference on Wednesday, saying that the Middle East is threatened by three extremist groups seeking regional hegemony, ISIS, Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood.

"They can and should be defeated on the ground. That should be the objective," he said.

Ya'alon called on the world not to turn a blind eye to Iran's arming of its proxies and violation of weapons embargoes.
