Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon extended the the seizure of the yeshiva in the settlement of Yitzhar by three months.

"The security forces' seizure of the yeshiva has a positive influence on the level of violence in Yitzhar and the surrounding areas," he said. "It also strengthens the status of the authorities in the settlement who would like to get rid of violent elements."

Two months ago, Border Policemen took over the yeshiva after Yitzhar residents attacked and vandalized an IDF post in the area.
