Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon ordered the IDF to ease several security restrictions in the West Bank in honor of the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha which began on Tuesday.

Among the goodwill gestures being put in place are the opening of extra lanes at security checkpoints to minimize travel delays and an extension in opening times of West Bank crossings to 10:00 p.m.

The IDF was also giving visitation permits with no age restriction to West Bank Palestinians interested in visiting family in Israel.
