Former IDF Lt.-Col. Yair Klein landed in Israel overnight between Friday and Saturday, three years and three months after he was arrested in Russia. Klein was released from a Russian prison earlier on Friday.He had been held in the Russian jail since 2007, awaiting extradition to Colombia, where he is wanted on charges of assisting drug traffickers and right-wing militias.Upon landing in Israel, the former lietenant said, "This is a great feeling."At Ben Gurion International Airport, Klein was received by his friends and family, and refered to the international order for his arrest as "nonsense."
