Right-wing activist Yehuda Glick, 48, remained in serious but stable condition on Wednesday after an assassination attempt that left him with four gunshot wounds, doctors said.
Glick was shot as he left a conference at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem late on Wednesday. His assailant escaped on the back of a motorcycle.
Police on Thursday shot dead a 32-year-old Palestinian man suspected of having tried to kill Glick, leading to fierce clashes in east Jerusalem and fears of a new Palestinian uprising.
