Yemen: 38 killed in violent clashes in northern Sana'a

At least 38 people have been killed in violent clashes between rebels and government forces in the northern area of Sana'a, Arabic-language news channel Al-Arabiya reported.
A medical source said 24 rebels had been killed and dozens more injured, while the Interior Ministry told news agencies that 14 soldiers had been killed in the clashes, and that two others were missing.
Rebels are demanding the ouster of longtime ruling President Ali Abdullah Saleh who has not agreed to step down despite pressure from the US and months-long protests.
