Yesh Atid supports petition against deadline extension of haredi draft law

Yesh Atid responded to the government's request to the High Court of Justice for an extension of the deadline of the haredi (ultra-Orthodox) enlistment bill.

"Only a government headed by Yesh Atid has the ability to pass the 'equality to the burden' without surrendering to the ultra-Orthodox dealers"

Yesh Atid said they supported Yisrael Beytenu in their petition to block the extension, because Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu can't be trusted.

"Instead of solving this open wound in Israeli society, Netanyahu prefers his political considerations," a party spokesperson wrote promising that Yesh Atid will pass the law after the elections.
