Yesha Council chairman Dani Dayan said on Tuesday that the battle against the settlement construction freeze in Judea and Samaria must not be conducted violently by the settlers. In response to car tires being slashed in Jerusalem earlier Monday, apparently by settlers in protesting the 10-month settlement moratorium decision, Dayan said that such actions were "morally bankrupt" and only serve to "hinder the settlers' struggle."
