Interior Minister Eli Yishai said Thursday morning that all Jews in the world are united in their belief that circumcision is an integral part of Judaism and must be protected. Yishai’s comments follow a criminal complaint filed this week by a physician in Germany against Rabbi David Goldberg, a mohel based in Hof Saale, Bavaria, for performing brit mila.

"There is no Jew that won't circumcise his son," Yishai told Army Radio. "I speak officially in the name of every Jew in the State of Israel and indeed in the diaspora as well."
