Opposition lawmaker MK Nachman Shai (Zionist Union) criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday for his rejection of a French-led initiative to relaunch peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians. The MK charged the Netanyahu government of 'inviting a political winter' that would isolate Israel from international diplomacy. 'The government is subjecting us to diplomatic isolation and forced settlement against Israel's will - without a future and without hope,' he said.
