Businesswoman and philanthropist Shari Arison, owner of the Arison Group, is launching her new publication, The Doing Good Model, a practical guide to infusing a business with the power of doing good. The book is also a call to action for business owners, leaders and employees in all industries across the world to become agents for change.

“By weaving universal values into the fabric of everyday life, every person can become a leader who brings about positive change, benefiting people, societies, communities and the planet,” Arison writes.

“Today, business companies can operate for the good of mankind and the world. The Doing Good Model can serve as a catalyst for change in the business world, driving forward companies to serve as a platform for positive change for people, economy, and environment,” she adds.

Arianna Huffington, chairwoman, president and editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post Media Group, said: “The Doing Good Model is built on a solid truth: that our definition of success must include well-being, not only for individuals but for the workplace.”

Dr. Ángel Cabrera, the president of George Mason University, said: “Shari Arison’s example of practicing moral responsibility in business is one that we want to share with our students as they begin the next phase of their lives. Our vision for our graduates is that they will be engaged and ethically oriented citizens, committed to building a just, free and prosperous world. Shari’s work shows how this can be done.”

Dr. Rakesh Khurana, the Marvin Bower professor of leadership development at the Harvard Business School, said: “Shari Arison’s book shows how enlightened business leaders who align positive economic, social and cultural business values into their core business practices have the potential to transform our world.”

The Doing Good Model
is Shari Arison’s fourth book and is an instant best-seller in the prestigious USA Today list, Barnes & Nobles and Amazon. Her previous book, Activate Your Goodness, was published three years ago and was a New York Times best-seller.
