Herzliya-based Amimon Inc. has raised $14 million in a second fundraising round, the company said Monday.
Amimon is working to develop a wireless video modem chipset for the transmission of uncompressed high-definition video streams, which the funding will help bring to market in the first quarter of 2007.
The round was led by Boston-based Stata Venture Partners with Argonaut Private Equity and previous Israeli investors Cedar Fund, Walden Israel and Evergreen Partners also participating. The financing brings the total investment in Amimon to $21m.
