NDS Group Plc said net profit for its fiscal second quarter ending December 31 rose 45% to $25.9m., or 45 cents per share, from $17.8m., or 32 cents per share a year earlier.
The maker of conditional access systems for pay television services said revenues rose 7% to $152m.
NDS, which has its main R&D center in Jerusalem, said the rise came through an increase in subscribers and middleware deployments.
