Of Haemek workers barricaded themselves in the factory and attacked a company official who arrived to speak with them.

Of Haemek workers continued their protest of the Ramat Yishai slaughterhouse's closing, announcing they would fast, rather than celebrate, this Purim. Monday's protests turned ugly as 200 workers barricaded themselves in the factory and attacked a company official who arrived to speak with them. The workers are demanding government intervention to save the factory - and their jobs.
