Vintage II capital fund raises $75m.

Vintage Venture Partners last week completed the final closure of Vintage Ventures II, Israel's only active, locally-managed "fund of funds," raising $75 million. Vintage Ventures II is focused on investing primarily in early stage, sector focused Israeli-related technology venture capital funds. The fund comprises leading Israeli, American, Canadian and European insurance companies, pension funds and family foundations. The lead investor of Vintage Ventures II is the Phoenix Assurance Company. To date, Vintage Ventures II has completed two investments in 2005 vintage Israeli venture funds. It is currently completing a third investment, in a 2006 vintage Israeli venture fund.
