International Internet search giant Yahoo has rented 350 meters in Haifa's hi-tech Matam industrial park to establish its planned Israel development center, it said Monday in a press release. Park Matam is currently home to Google, Microsoft and Intel, among others. It is owned by the Gav Yam company. 'We're pleased that Yahoo chose to open its first center at Matam, and see its choice as a recognition of the park's success and the North's quality personnel,' Gav Yam CEO Sharon Schweppe said.
