Une figure clé dans l'enquête de corruption qui épingle le Premier ministre Ehoud Olmert, a été innocentée dans l'agression du dentiste de Long Island. Un juge du District de Nassau a statué mardi que l'accusation n'avait pas réussi à prouver que Morris Talanski avait agressé le Dr Leornard Barashick lors d'une dipsute en 2007 sur un travail dentaire. Le juge William O'Brien a déclaré ne pas faire confiance en le témoignage de Barashick. Talansky, l'homme d'affaire américain, s'est dit "reconnaissant envers le Tout-Puissant et ses avocats". Talansky avait témoigné à Jérusalem en mai concernant les subsides qu'il a données à Olmert avant qu'il ne devienne Premier ministre. Olmert nie tout méfait.
