The Israel Air Force attacked multiple targets located in various parts of the Gaza Strip overnight Thursday after Palestinian terrorists fired a total of five Kassam rockets into the western Negev, the IDF Spokesperson confirmed.

The IAF attacked targets in the northern, central and southern parts of Gaza, the IDF said.
As a result, Gazan medical workers said two children were lightly injured.

'Sharon should have hit Gaza when rockets fell'

Shortly before the confirmation,
witnesses and Hamas officials reported IAF fighter jets carrying out air strikes in different areas of Gaza.

Four Hamas training camps had been hit in the air strikes, according to the Palestinian witnesses and Hamas officials.

Aircraft bombed a target south of Gaza City, with no reports of injuries as well as targets in Khan Younis, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.

Earlier Thursday, Palestinian terrorists fired five Kassam rockets at western Negev communities enveloping Gaza.

On Wednesday night, the IAF struck two smuggling tunnels in southern Gaza and one tunnel used for terrorism in the northern part of the Strip, in response to Kassam rocket fire earlier in the day, the IDF spokesperson confirmed on Thursday.
