Serious flaws found in IDF’s coordination of rescue service
State Comptroller's Report says shortcomings harm the ability to receive regular reports from a number of operations at once.

The IDF Home Front Command’s commandand- control systems have severe flaws that impair its ability to operate with other rescue services in Israel, according to a new report published on Tuesday by State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss.The Home Front Command’s command-and-control systems are meant to provide an accurate and clear picture of an area of operations that the command is responsible for following a large-scale disaster, either caused naturally or the result of a terror or military attack against Israel.The comptroller also found shortcomings in the integration of the command- and-control system throughout the Home Front Command’s various divisions and departments.“These shortcomings harm the ability to receive regular reports from a number of operations at once, which is supposed to help create a clear updated picture to enable the command to oversee the various operations – which could be quite large in light of the current threats against the Israeli home front,” the report warned.
