Arab MK: FM Liberman should 'go back to where he came from, join gang in Moldova'

Earlier the foreign minister said Arab lawmakers in the Knesset collaborate with terrorists.

Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman should “go back to where he came from,” UAL-Ta’al leader MK Ibrahim Sarsour said Sunday, in response to accusations by Liberman that Arab lawmakers collaborate with terrorists.
Liberman told Israel Radio that “Arab MKs represent terrorist organizations.”
According to Liberman, the Arab lawmakers’ speeches in the Knesset are hate speech and incitement.
“They have nerve to try to destroy Israel from the inside but still want citizenship,” he said.
“Liberman is not relevant as far as we’re concerned, so his words are irrelevant,” Sarsour said. “Arab MKs proudly represent the Arab-Palestinian public in Israel and defend the Palestinian people’s right to live freely like any other nation in the world.”
“If Liberman doesn’t like it, he can go back to where he came from. I’m sure he’ll find work in one of the criminal gangs in his country of origin,” Sarsour stated, referring to Moldova.
Many other Arab MKs were unimpressed with Liberman’s accusations, which echo previous statements he’s made, and refused to comment.
“His words aren’t worth our attention,” a spokesman for MK Hana Sweid (Hadash) said.
A senior Yisrael Beytenu source called Sarsour’s comments “a typical and tired response from someone who is both unable and unwilling to fend off the accusations in an articulate and accurate manner.
“The foreign minister’s country of origin, like that of all Jews, is Israel, and the more Arab MKs who represent interests other than their own constituents try and deflect the issue, the more assured the majority of Israelis become that the true essence of ending the conflict is the recognition of Israel as the homeland of the Jewish People with all that entails,” he said.
