Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu announced at a ceremony on Thursday that female members of the Mossad are just as impressive as Wonder Woman, Israeli supermodel Gal Gadot.

"What Gal Gadot is about to do in her new film, you do in real life," the prime minister said.

Comments were made during a ceremony at which the prime minister, President Shimon Peres and Mossad Chief Tamir Pardo presented 12 awards for impressive achievements within the intelligence organization. Four of the awards were presented to women.

Entertainment Weekly reported on Wednesday that Israeli actress Gadot will play Wonder Woman in the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie planned for 2015.

Gadot is best known in the US for her role of Gisele Harrabo in three Fast and Furious films, starring alongside Paul Walker, who was killed in a car crash in California on Saturday.
