The Regional Development Ministry, under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Silvan Shalom, is holding a conference on Monday, made up of speeches and panel discussions.
President Shimon Peres, Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Bank of Israel Governor Stanley Fischer were among the scheduled speakers. Panel discussions covering topics including "Israel and the Palestinians: Between optimism and pessimism" and "International relations, peace and cooperation with a local perspective." The speeches and sessions will be webcast live on JPost.com.
