TOURS  Rehavia Walking Tour – This unique neighborhood was built at first by the Jewish socialists of the Gedud Ha’avoda, its streets were named by its well known resident Sephardim, and its character today was shaped by the German Jewish bourgeoisie. Visit one of the first Jewish garden neighborhoods, built during the Mandate period, where many well-known personalities resided. Tour is 2- 2.5 hours. Ska Party: Los Caparos & Fast Food Orchestra – Los Caparos is a good example of how music can break through cultural, linguistic and musical boundaries. The band combines ska, reggae, funk and jungle in Russian, Hebrew and English. Fast Food Orchestra is a band from the Czech Republic that is similar in style to Los Caparos. THEATER A Servant of Two Masters: The Cameri Theater – A brilliant, entertaining and surprising comedy of errors written by Carlo Goldoni 300 years ago. A story about a miserly merchant, his unwed daughter, the daughter’s deceased fiancé’s sister and the latter’s servant Truffaldino. Quickly, different stories intermingle and things get increasingly complicated and lead to a string of crazy situations. THEATER  God – Woody Allen’s God is an irreverent and spontaneous farce. Set in an empty Greek amphitheater, this madcap play-within-a-play flits chaotically between ancient and modern times as an actor and a writer struggle to find a suitable ending for a play. PIAF: Beersheva Theater – A sweeping musical based on the life story of legendary chanteuse Edith Piaf. FILMS Anthropology Festival – The Jerusalem Cinematheque with sociology and anthropology classes of the Hebrew University will present the first anthropology festival in Israel. ART  Life: A User’s Manuel – Gallery talk with exhibition curator Aya Miron. The works in the exhibition address the culture of do-it-yourself and the role of instructions and regulations in daily life.
