65-year-old Israeli man killed while vacationing in Iceland

An Israeli man, 65, was killed while hiking in Iceland, the Foreign Ministry announced on Monday.

The victim's family has been notified.

The man, participating in an organized trip, was killed near the southern Icelandic town of Selfoss.

Foreign Ministry officials are now sorting out the logistics entailed in bringing the man's body back to Israel for burial.
