8 inmates hospitalized after Florida prison fight

A spokeswoman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons said that eight male inmates were taken to a hospital after a "large-scale fight" at a federal prison northwest of Orlando. Spokeswoman Traci Billingsley said that the fight broke out in the recreation yard serving a high-security prison building at the Coleman Federal Correctional Complex. Billingsley said that no staff workers were seriously injured. She had no immediate information on the condition of the inmates. The Orlando Regional Medical Center confirms that seven people were hospitalized.
