Afghanistan suicide bombs kill, wound at least 20

A double suicide bomb attack in southern Afghanistan killed and wounded at least 20 police, soldiers and civilians on Sunday. Helmand deputy provincial police chief Kamaluddin Khan said the attack began when a first suicide bomber detonated his explosives near a taxi stand in the town of Gereshk. Khan said that police and soldiers responded to the scene. Then, a second suicide attacker detonated his explosives, causing a majority of the casualties.
