Jewish construction in the West Bank must stop, Austrian President Heinz Fischer said on Wednesday.
Fischer made his comments during a press conference with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in the West Bank town of Ramallah.
"We demand that the settlement expansion stop," Fischer said, adding that settlements "distance the opportunities for a just and comprehensive peace."
