Belgian premier proposes entire government resign

Belgian Prime Minister Yves Leterme is proposing that his entire government step down over the handling of the Fortis bank bailout. His proposal came after his Justice Minister Jo Vandeurzen resigned in the wake of allegations by Belgium's highest court that the government had tried last week to influence a court case on the bailout and sale of the troubled bank. If the whole government proposes resigning, Belgian King Albert II still holds the right to refuse or accept the resignation.
