Flash floods and landslide in Indonesia kill 21

Heavy rain triggered floods that killed at least 21 people and left 20 others missing on a small island in central Indonesia, state news agency Antara reported Monday. The floods Sunday washed through four villages on Laut, which lies off the southern tip of Borneo Island, Antara quoted local officials as saying. At least 21 people were killed and 20 others were still missing, the report said. Local officials and police could not be reached for immediate comment.
