Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman held private talks with Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi before traveling to Paris on Tuesday, the next stop on his European tour.
Lieberman and Berlusconi met at the premier's office, smiling and shaking hands before retiring for discussions.
On Monday, Lieberman said after meeting his Italian counterpart that Israel's new government was committed to peace.
