Germany's eastern state of Saxony has reported a 19 percent jump in the number of neo-Nazi attacks in the first nine months of 2008.
Police said they are also worried that far-right groups could be growing more organized.
Saxony's top security official Albrecht Buttolo says authorities have recorded 91 attacks against foreigners since January.
Buttolo said authorities are particularly concerned that data released Wednesday shows neo-Nazis are increasingly networking beyond their localities.
Saxony has been plagued by far-right extremists for years. In 2004, the far-right National Democratic Party won seats in state elections and is a member of the legislature.
