President Barack Obama says he wants a foreign policy that values listening to and cooperating with other nations. Asked how his foreign policy differs from President George W. Bush's, Obama said, "we exercise our leadership best when we are listening" and when "we lead by example, when we show some element of humility." At a news conference at the G-20 Summit in London, Obama said there always will be "tough negotiations" on some issues. He said, "Sometimes we must walk away." Obama says there will be real dangers in the world "that can't always be talked through and must be addressed."
