"Get this done - Democrats, Republicans, step up to the plate and get it done," Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Monday shortly after the House of Representatives defeated a $700 billion bank bailout bill.
"Understand that even as you stabilize the markets, we have to make sure that Main St. gets what Wall St. is getting," Obama said.
The Illinois senator was speaking at a campaign event in Colorado.
