Official: Suicide bomb kills 48 at Pakistan mosque

At least 48 people were killed Friday in a suicide attack on a mosque in northwestern Pakistan, a government official said. Tariq Hayat, the top administrator in the Khyber region, said rescuers pulled 48 bodies from the rubble after the attack near the town of Jamrud and that the death toll was likely to rise. The mosque was packed for Friday prayers.
