Suicide bomber hits South Korean convoy in Yemen

A suicide bomber hit a convoy carrying the South Korean ambassador, but no one was hurt, a Yemeni security official said on Wednesday. The official said that the South Korean delegation included a team sent to Yemen to investigate a bombing on Sunday that killed four South Korean tourists and their Yemeni driver. The three-car convoy was targeted on the road to the airport outside the capital. Yemen is Osama bin Laden's ancestral homeland and has long been a center of militant activity.
