Turkish media say an explosion in the western province of Izmir has injured 13.
Private NTV television says the explosion occurred Thursday morning near a bus carrying police officers. It says three of the injured were civilians and the rest were soldiers or police officers.
It was unclear how severe the injuries were, or what caused the explosion.
