Turkey urges cease-fire in South Ossetia

Turkey's prime minister has called for a cease-fire then dialogue to end conflict in South Ossetia. Recep Tayyip Erdogan says the fighting there is of grave concern for Turkey, which neighbors Georgia. Erdogan told reporters Friday that Turkey wants "an immediate cease-fire and recourse to diplomacy" to end the hostilities. The Turkish prime minister also said he would call the Russian and Georgian leaders to urge restraint "if necessary".
