Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was quoted by Reuters Wednesday as calling Israel a "cancerous tumor." Reuters also reported that he said US President Barack Obama was on the same track as his predecessor, George W. Bush. Speaking during a press conference in Teheran, Khamenei slammed the Obama administration for its support of Israel, saying, "Even the new president of America, who has come to power with slogans about changing Bush's policies, is defending state terrorism by talking about unconditional commitment to Israel's security." He said the US president was on the same "wrong path" as the Bush administration followed.
