Iran warns of energy disruption if US attacks

Iran's top leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, threatened on Sunday that Iran would disrupt energy shipments from the Gulf region should the country come under attack from the US, insisting that Tehran will not give up its right to produce nuclear fuel. Khamenei also warned that the US and its allies would not be able to provide security to all the oil shipments that cross the strategic Hormuz Strait - within close range of Iran - should a disruption occur.
