Sde Eliyahu, a religious kibbutz nestled in the Valley of Springs (Beit Shean Valley) and the pioneer of organic agriculture in Israel, invites you to spend a fascinating tour in a special kibbutz atmosphere, surrounded by nature.

Six days a week (not on Saturday), Bio-Tour Sde Eliyahu offers a variety of tours demonstrating the interaction between man and earth and between tradition and modern technology. Bio-Tour environmental tours are suitable for individuals and all groups, including university students, schoolchildren, pensioners, and others. Our tours range between 2-4 hours, depending on the client's requests.

If you have been to Israel before, and are looking for something new and unique to see and do – Bio-Tour is the perfect solution.  A taste of "authentic" Israel, and perhaps a side that you never knew existed – Bio-Tour Sde Eliyahu will provide you with just that – and more.

For first-time visitors to Israel, Bio-Tour is a special stop between all the traditional "must do and see" sites… and one that will definitely stand out!

The typical tour is 2 hours, and consists of background explanation about our Kibbutz, Biological pest control (with live samples!!) and organic farming. During the tour our visitors see, hear, and taste a totally "green" experience…

Looking for a unique way to celebrate a bar/bat mitzvah? A family occasion? Bio-Tour will tailor a tour to suit your requests… with special activities for the kids, and an unforgettable experience for the whole family!

For groups, we also offer a choice of professional lectures on:

  • The biology of the Bumblebee and natural pollination.
  • Organic farming
  • Wild life in the Valley of Springs
  • The Templer community

At the end of your tour, we also offer the option of Kosher meals in the kibbutz dining room… and at our visitors center you can purchase local organic produce and more.
