Man, 22, stabbed to death at Israeli 'nature party' brawl

Police opened an investigation into the incident and a gag order was placed on all details of the investigation Sunday morning.

A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death and four others were wounded at a party in Elyakim Forest south of Haifa on Saturday night.

Police said an initial investigation revealed the stabbing occurred during a brawl at the party.

Magen David Adom paramedics received a report of the stabbing at 10:16 p.m. and a helicopter was rushed to the scene. Paramedic Hanan Zohar and Lior Dostri found the victim, Migdal Ha’emek resident Moshe Ashkenazi, with severe stab wounds and pronounced him dead at the scene.

“We continued on to the forest and encountered another vehicle in which a young man of about 20 was lying unconscious, not breathing, with no pulse and with stab wounds,” MDA said in a statement. “We gave him medical treatment and carried out advanced CPR operations, and in the end we confirmed his death at the scene.”

Another man was evacuated to the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa with severe stab wounds to his upper body and three others were evacuated independently.

Police opened an investigation into the incident and a gag order was placed on all details of the investigation Sunday morning. According to Channel 10, no suspects have been arrested and police are still seeking eyewitness testimonies.
