During the celebrations of Bnei Sakhnin's victory against Maccabi Haifa in the final game of the Israeli Cup, a Bnei Shknei fan threw a bottle at Maccabi's bus, smashing the window and hurting one of the players at the Doha stadium on Tuesday.

The center back Etienne Reijnen was slightly injured and treated on the spot, outside the stadium in Sakhnin, in northern Israel.

Following the incident, an argument developed between the managers of the two groups.

In a statement, Maccabi Haifa Football Club strongly condemned the violent act and called on the police to investigate the incident.
