Spiritual leader of the Druze community in Israel Moafaq Tarif is to meet Mikhail Bogdanov, the Russian diplomat overseeing Russian policy in the Middle East, on Tuesday.

Tarif is expected to ask Bogdanov for Russian aid in rescuing 30 Druze women who were last reported as held captive by ISIS in the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor with their children.
