The clocks will change this Thursday night / Friday morning. When local time in Israel is about to reach 2 a.m. on Friday, March 29, the clock will jump to 3 a.m. instead. Israelis will lose an hour and re-align with the States, making Israel seven hours ahead of New York City once again. Candle lighting time in Jerusalem this week will be 7:33 p.m., as opposed to last week when it was 6:28 p.m.
