The Comedy Central TV show follows the adventures of the two young women in New York and has received almost unanimous critical acclaim. The network renewed the show for a third season in January but it is still not yet known when the first episode will air.

The Tel Aviv casting call announced that the episode to be aired in Israel will be about Abbi and Ilana coming to Israel on a Birthright-style trip. The roles to be filled are for other English speaking youth who will be traveling with them through the country.

Some memorable Jewish moments from past episodes were Ilana's grandmother's shiva and the scene when an NYU candidate wearing a large Star of David necklace blows a series of incredible smoke rings that amaze the two women.

So all together now: 4 and 3 and 2 and 1 . . . and now in Hebrew!
