An Israeli model is the star of a new music video by one of the world’s hottest Latin singers.

Colombian reggaeton singer Maluma released his latest single, “HP,” on Friday, and it stars none other than Rishon Lezion native Neta Alchimister. The video has already made a splash, being viewed close to 9 million times in its first 48 hours. Alchimister plays a woman who dumped her cheating boyfriend and wants to go out on the town.
The colorful, upbeat video has also already won it high praise; MTV called it “a colorful explosion of positive vibes,” while Billboard said it was “vibrant” and “playful.”
“We wanted to do a very, very colorful video because that’s what I’m doing with my next album, 11:11, is showing a lot of happiness, a lot of positive energy,” Maluma told MTV News. “We wanted to show all these colors and this happiness that I’m going through in my life.”
The 25-year-old singer and the 24-year-old model are both hits on social media; Maluma has close to 40 million followers while Alchimister has 1.4 million, making her one of the most followed Israelis on the platform. Several of Maluma’s songs have been viewed more than 1 billion times on YouTube, and he won his first Latin Grammy last year.
And Maluma has proven his love for Israel in the past, having performed in the country twice in the past two years. When he landed in Tel Aviv last summer, he told his millions of fans on social media: “I’m so excited to be back in Israel!”
Will he return this summer and bring Alchimister up on stage? That still remains to be seen.
