Local world music hero Idan Raichel joined American superstar Alicia Keys and Palestinian qanun virtuoso Ali Amr onstage in Central Park Saturday for a joint performance of Keys' "We Are Here" as part of the annual Global Citizen Festival.

The free concert was part of an initiative to foster action to help end poverty by 2030, and most of the 60,000 attendees were invited to the show via their anti-poverty activism.

Other performers at the show which was broadcast on NBC TV in the US and streamed live on msnbc.com included host Hugh Jackman, Jay-Z, Carrie Underwood, Jessica Alba and The Roots.

When Keys performed last year in Tel Aviv at the Nokia Arena, she invited Raichel to sing a duet.
