IAF flyover Jerusalem
Israel's Air Force celebrated the country's 69th Independence in its much-expected annual flyover. The extravagant air display that started at noon drew excited spectators from across the country to Israel's main beaches.
The flyover took place over the coastline and throughout the extent of the country. Onlookers waved flags and called in excitement as military jets and helicopters zigzagged across the skies in an impressive and moving tribute to the Jewish state.
Three of Israel's newest fighter jets, the F-35 Adir planes (that are considered the most advanced airplanes in the world), took part in the flyover for the first time.
