Students at Bar-Ilan University prepared gift packages for Arab and Jewish families in need, as part of a Purim celebration on campus.
The students are part of the University's Jewish-Arab Inter-Religious Dialogue Course.
The course aims to facilitate dialogue between Jews, Muslims and Christians, with the goal of promoting respect between the three faiths, according to a press release from the University.
Students in the course study different aspects of each religion, and share their experiences of religiosity and spirituality with each other. For example, Muslim students have discussed their pilgrimages to Mecca, while Jewish students have spoken about visiting Jerusalem on major holidays.
